CAD Design and Modeling
- Creating 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) models from original concepts for additive manufacturing
- SolidWorks 3-D modeling/CAD software
- Materialise Magics STL file editing software
Stereolithography (SLA)
- Equipment: Viper from 3D Systems
- Minimum Build Layer: standard resolution, 0.1 mm; high resolution, 0.05 mm
- Beam Diameter: Standard Resolution: 0.25 mm; High Resolution: 0.075 mm
- Maximum Build Size: 250 x 250 x 250 mm (10 x 10 x 10 in.)
- Materials: Somos XC11122 Watershed Resin Transparent, water-resistant, high durability
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)
- Equipment: Vanguard Si2 high speed from

- Polyamide 11 (nylon 11) polymer
- Glass-filled Polyamide 12 (nylon 12) polymer

- Duraform Flex, a flexible, rubber-like material
PolyJet
- Equipment: Stratasys Objet 260 Connex
- Maximum Build Size: 260 x 260 x 200 mm (10.2 x 10.2 x 7.9 in.)
- Minimum Build Layer: 16 or 30 microns
Materials Include:
- Objet Tango, a family of rubber-like flexible materials

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
