Bio

Allison’s prior research experience includes constraining carbon and nutrient exchange in a tidal dominated estuary, assessing the change in DOM composition in estuarine sediments, and the synthesis of organic frameworks for landfill gas separation applications. Her research interests include aquatic biogeochemistry, carbon cycling, and the fate and transport of anthropogenic organic contaminants. Allison is working in Dr. Bridget Ulrich’s lab and is excited to help in developing real world solutions to environmental contamination in this position.
