Steve Kossett is manager of NRRI's Rapid Prototyping Lab. Steve has a strong background in industrial and mechanical engineering. He has had extensive experience in the areas of hydraulics, computer control systems, software development, computer aided design (CAD) and electronic controls. He has been very active in rapid prototyping technology for decades. Steve is responsible for all of the operations of the Technology Center which includes four different rapid prototyping technologies each with multiple materials. The rapid prototyping technologies include Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and 3-Dimensional Printing (3DP). He also works with clients to produce a wide range of rapid prototyped parts and models.
