Patrick (Pat) Casey is the Operating Labs Supervisor at the NRRI Coleraine facility. Pat began working at NRRI in 2013 as a Lab Technician, working extensively in the Metallurgical/Pyro Lab area. In January of 2017 he moved to Lab Supervisor at Coleraine. He currently supervises a staff of 10 lab technicians in the Minerals/Metallurgy and Biomass operating labs. In addition, Pat has responsibility for the Facilities and Grounds at the Coleraine site.
Prior to NRRI, Pat has worked in a variety of sales and management positions including 21 years in Retail Hardware and 5 years owning and managing a Tire & Auto Repair business. He also has 6-1/2 years in the paper manufacturing industry, with roles in customer service, logistics and production planning. Pat also spent 5 years in an estimating/planning/procurement role for an industrial rotating equipment business.
Education
Pat graduated with a degree in Practical Business Management from the Northwest Technical College in 1981. Pat has additional coursework at Itasca Community College and the College of Saint Scholastica.
