Birds and Wildlife Ecology Lab
The Avian Conservation and Wildlife Ecology group provides resources for monitoring fauna in northern forests and coastal ecosystems of the Great Lakes region.
Specifically, we investigate long-term changes in wildlife populations, impacts of forest management on wildlife, population and community ecology of birds, amphibians and small mammals, spatial ecology, impacts of invasive species on wildlife, and restoration and management of Minnesota's wildlife.
Analyses may include community composition, population assessments, and characterization of land and wildlife relationships. We have staff skilled in a wide variety of modeling approaches and statistical analyses.
