John Heine is a scientist for the Economic Geology Program within the Minerals Division of the Center for Applied Research and Technology Development. His areas of research include industrial minerals and nonferrous minerals. In industrial minerals, his primary focus is on kaolin and ball clays, aggregates and geologic mapping. In nonferrous minerals, his primary focus is on Archean gold mineralization, volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits and environmental remediation and geologic mapping.
