Tamara Diedrich, Ph.D., Research Associate

Position and Focus

Tamara Diedrich is a Research Associate and Group Leader for the Particle and Materials Characterization Group within the Minerals Division of CARTD. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at University of Minnesota Duluth. She has been at NRRI since 2007 where she has worked on projects related to taconite mineralogy, taconite-derived particulates, mineral fibers in the Biwabik Iron Formation, and a taconite-based pothole patching compound.
