Steve Kossett is the Program Director for the Northern Lights Technology Center at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Steve has a strong background in industrial and mechanical engineering. He has had extensive experience in the areas of hydraulics, computer control systems, software development, computer aided design (CAD) and electronic controls. He has been very active in rapid prototyping technology for the last six years. Steve is responsible for all of the operations of the Technology Center which includes four different rapid prototyping technologies each with multiple materials. The rapid prototyping technologies include Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), 3-Dimensional Printing (3DP). He also works with clients to produce a wide range of rapid prototyped parts and models.
