Position and Focus
Andriy Khotkevych is working on the projects of biomass gasification and processing of renewable fuels. He has 20 years of experience in laboratory research in the areas of chemical kinetics, chemistry of cage structures and natural products, custom organic synthesis, and applied electrochemistry. He has experience in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, working as Research and Development manager of a custom chemical plant and as a project engineer on international pharmaceutical projects in Ukraine in 1991 - 2001. He has authored 25 papers in Ukrainian, Russian and international journals, and holds two U.S. patent applications.

Polymetallic Gas to Liquid Catalysts
2009 USS Research Contract
NRRI`s Coleraine Minerals Research Laboratory (CMRL) will conduct research and development work for U.S. Steel`s Minntac and Keewatin Taconite plants in the areas of size reduction, classification, flotation, magnetic separation, filtering, balling, indurating, and pellet quality improvement. Research and development work will be conducted using bench and pilot scale equipment at CMRL in addition to in-plant test work at the mining operations plant sites.
