11/12/04 Lynx #5 was recaptured on 11/2/04.  His VHF collar was replaced.  He continues to occasionally spend time near Lynx #7 and her kittens

10/24/04

A female lynx with 2 kittens was seen on Highway 2 on October 24, 2004.  This very likely was Lynx #7.  When her den was visited in June she had 3 kittens.  This means that all 3 of the female lynx on the project that had kittens in June were able to bring at least some kittens through the summer.

Lynx #13 was seen with kittens 9/25/04, and a female with kittens which we believe was Lynx #14 was photographed near Isabella on 9/16/04.

10/4/04 Lynx #12 was recaptured and his GPS collar recovered on 9/30/04 . Our remote camera work indicated an un-collared lynx was also present in the area.

On 10/2/04 , Lynx #16, a 20 pound female, was collared and released in the same general area.
