Pictures of Canada lynx on Birch Lake, near Ely, MN

These pictures of a Canada lynx were taken on Birch Lake south of Ely on August 4, 2004 by Steve Pfister. In the picture on the left you can see the resort lawn furniture, and by the red arrow the outline of a lynx. The pictures were taken at about 8:30 a.m. which is of interest. Activity sensors on the GPS collars are indicating a morning peak in activity that we will have more information about on the website soon.
