L14 2004 Den. Kittens were not handled at the den of Lynx #14 because they were too old to be handled, and the Mother moved off the den when it was approached. The den was surrounded by swampy areas with either alder, cedar, and/or black spruce. The den itself was under a blowdown pile consisting of several trunks. The den area is shown in these pictures.
