L13 2005 Den. Study team members visited the den site and found 4 kittens at the den of a L13 on June 2, 2005. The mother localized her movements in early May of 2005. The den of L13 in 2005 was about 1.5 km from her 2004 den site. Kittens were measured, blood samples were collected for DNA analysis, and a small ear tag was placed in each kitten’s ear.

The photographs below show the kittens, stages in processing the kittens, and some of the habitat associated with the den site.
