L13 2004 Den. Five kittens were found at the den of a second radiocollared Canada on June 23, 2004. The mother, L13 localized her movements in early May of 2004. On June 23, 2004 study team members visited the den site and found 5 kittens. Kittens were measured, blood samples were collected for DNA analysis, and a small ear tag was placed in each kitten’s ear.

The photographs below show the kittens, stages in processing the kittens, and some of the habitat associated with the den site.
