L07 2005 Den. Study team members visited the den site and found 3 kittens at the den of a L07 on June 3, 2005. The mother localized her movements in early May of 2005. The den of L07 in 2005 was about 200 m from her 2004 den site. Kittens were measured, blood samples were collected for DNA analysis, and a small ear tag was placed in each kitten’s ear.

The photographs below show the kittens, stages in processing the kittens, and some of the habitat associated with the den site.
