Canada Lynx in the Great Lakes Region

Lynx #14 was captured near Isabella, MN on March 29th, 2004. A 23 pound female, she was fitted with a GPS collar and released. L14 had kittens in both 2004 and 2005. One of her 2004 kittens may still be alive (awaiting DNA test results). She has spent most of her time in the Isabella area.

   

   


Study animals are anaesthetized in many of the images on this site. They regain consciousness and leave the capture site shortly after processing is finished.
