L1 was captured near Isabella, Minnesota on 3/14/03. L1 was probably a yearling (about 22 months old) that weighed 17 pounds when he was captured. L1 remained near Isabella for at least 2 weeks. Between locations on the 2nd and 3rd weeks after capture L1 moved about 90 km north to just across the Canadian border.  L1 was not located in Minnesota again, and he was harvested by a commercial trapper in Ontario on 11/26/03. L1 locations in Canada are shown in magenta dots on the map below.
