Important Habitat Sites and Areas in the Lake Superior Basin 2006

The Important Habitat map was updated in Spring 2006 by the Lake Superior Binational Program's Habitat Committee. The map adds several new features, including: Lake Trout Important Habitat, Lake Whitefish Important Habitat, and Minnesota County Significant Biodiversity Areas. The map can now be accessed in several formats:

Support for adding the Important Habitat map to the Lake Superior Decision Support website was provided by the Canada-Ontario Agreement through the Great Lakes Binational Program.
