The Indo-US Workshop Series on Mathematical Chemistry with Applications to Drug Design, Risk Assessment of Chemicals, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Toxicology began in 1998. The First Indo-US Workshop was held at Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India (January 9-13, 1998). The Second Indo-US Workshop was held at the University of Minnesota Duluth, USA (May 30-June 3, 2000). And the Fourth Indo-US Workshop was held at the University of Pune, Pune, Maharashtra, India (January 9-13, 1998). Over one hundred scientists from four continents have participated in each meeting of the Indo-US Workshop Series on Mathematical Chemistry.

Subhash C. Basak, Natural Resources Research Institute, University of Minnesota Duluth (USA) and Dilip K. Sinha, University of Calcutta (India) are the Co-Chairpersons of the Indo-US Workshop Series on Mathematical Chemistry from the United States and India, respectively.
