NRRI's Library provides information services for our staff, the UMD community, industry representatives and members of the public who are in need of research materials or information related to natural resources. The Library was established in 1984 and includes collections, reader stations and staff work areas. With assistance from professional and support staff, clients access a world-wide base of scientific and technical literature. Most of the library's holdings are accessible via UMD's Library online system. Programs and services support ongoing research projects and long-term research goals of our staff.
Major areas of emphasis mirror the Institute's work and includes forest products, peat, industrial minerals, taconite, non-ferrous minerals, ecosystems, environmental chemistry, resource analysis and business development.
Our Library is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For more information, call Susan Hendrickson (218) 720-4235.
