| Horizontal Positional Accuracy | Source layer stprkne3: Horizontal positional accuracy is dependant on accuracy of the pl40ne3 dataset and statutory descriptions of park boundaries. In most areas, pls40ne3 features can be expected to be +/- 40 feet from their true position. The most significant problems have typically been observed in the northeastern part of the state. However, when significant accuracy problems are observed, State Parks Statuatory boundaries will typically rely on other sources of information, such as cultural features visible on aerial imagery. Accurate land surveyed boundaries are also used on occasion. | |||
