Tungsten Research

NRRI researchers at our Coleraine Laboratory have recently completed research and development work by creating a process allowing tungsten ore to be converted to high purity metallic powder in a cost effective, environmentally friendly manner. Wild River Consulting Company is currently scaling up this NRRI process to allow for a processing plant to be located in Northeastern Minnesota to produce tungsten products.

New Products

These new tungsten products will be used to replace lead containing products currently detrimental to the environment, such as lead fishing lures, lead automobile wheel weights and lead ammunition.
